Leina has specialized as a child and adolescent psychotherapist over 25 years. When working with children in individual treatment, she uses a variety of approaches to address anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, ADD/ADHD, anger management, and social & behavioral challenges. She has worked in outpatient settings such as The Center for Developing Minds, Santa Clara and San Francisco County Mental Health Departments, public and private elementary schools, and as a practicum instructor for San Jose State University. Leina completed an advanced clinical social work fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center. She holds an MSW from UC Berkeley, and a BA in Psychology from UCLA.
