"Amicus Therapy Group facilitated a series of small group workshops to develop and build essential playground skills for our primary grade students. As an administrator, I was most impressed with the level of professionalism and the amount of practical knowledge and skill that Amicus brought to our site. Our students were engaged in the process and the topics were consistently relevant and useful. In addition, Amicus provided feedback about each child to parents and shared broad, school improvements we could make to further support the development of our students. We were proud to offer this program for our students and grateful for the amazing and committed work provided by Amicus."

"Our daughter has participated in both group and individual therapy sessions with Leina Ramos Stowers since she was age 9. She is now 11, and we and her school have observed substantial improvement in her interactions with others. In particular, she is now more flexible, manages her anger better, and is more self-aware with much higher emotional intelligence. Amicus has made her more successful in school and in life."

"Leina and Cathy came to our school ready to customize a social skills group that met the needs of our boys. They not only met that goal, but really connected with our school's families and provided valuable feedback to each one. Both Leina and Cathy are professional and sincere. Over the course of the workshop, I could hear tons of laughter from the boys - they were truly enjoying learning about themselves and each other! I have heard from the boys in the group and their families about the fun activities they engaged in, and how applicable to life they found the topics. I am very happy to be working with Leina and Cathy and I look forward to their workshops next year!"

"The 'Friendship Classes' have been wonderful for my child. He is a wonderful friend, but his anxiety and shyness seemed to be holding him back. The 'Friendship Classes' have helped him practice his social skills in a warm and nurturing environment. His confidence has soared and he is more comfortable in a variety of social groups. I would recommend these classes for all ages to give them confidence and fine tune their social skills."
